Leadership and Communication Education (LACE) training is available at two all-day sessions every year (usually in January and June). Each session is usually held once in Orange County and repeated three weeks later in Los Angeles County to provide everybody in the Founders District a chance to attend.
There are usually six sessions each day with several choices of talks during each session. All at the very reasonable price of $15 for the entire day (which includes a boxed lunch).
It is strongly recommended that all elected club officers attend as there are training sessions for all officer roles. Officers should sign the attendance sheet at the appropriate session so that Tongue Tamers gets credit for their attendance. In addition to officers’ training, LACE also provides training on diverse topics, such as updating your club’s Website, how to leverage your Toastmasters experience during a job search, and training on how to use a PowerPoint presentation.
